The power of Photoshop: Media defined ‘beauty’ is impossible

There is the reason that even when women are in really great shape, wear a size 4, and are healthy, it is never good enough for them. All of their logic and intelligence have trouble combatting what they’ve seen as “perfect” day after day for their entire life.

Children today are massively influenced by media in what is defined as ‘beautiful’ but it is important that they also understand that a lot of the time it is not real.  Children need to realise that aspiring to look like an airbrushed celebrity is an impossible task…it just is not attainable!

Well, we at Yourwellness want to see more of the below. We want to show our daughters, over and over, why the images of so many women they see aren’t realistic.

Adobe Photoshop is a simple software that can change anything in images you want and gives you everything you need to bring out the best in your digital images, transform them into anything you can imagine, and showcase them in extraordinary ways. Whilst this is the power of Adobe Photoshop… It is also used to give unrealistic expectations of beauty!

Watch below and you will see a naturally beautiful girl artificially adjusted into something which makes some women feel inferior.
