You can massage a little warm coconut oil into your scalp every day, helping to keep it moisturised and healthy. Once a week, massage a greater quantity into the scalp and onto the strands, and leave for about an hour before washing out with a mild shampoo.
Almond oil is great for your hair as it has a softening action.
