Annual dance benefit to raise funds for pediatric cancer

The Salina Dance Association’s annual spring dance benefit will be at 1 p.m. April 6 at the Salina Central High School auditorium.


Admission is by donation. All proceeds will benefit the Love, Chloe Foundation’s “Monkey in My Chair” program.


The show will include jazz dance, ballet, tap, musical theater, hip-hop, pom, line dancing, Zumba, hula and belly dance. Performers will include Prestige School of Dance, Vivette’s Dance Studio, Tamara Howe School of Dance, Stepz Dance Company, Cheer Fire, Salina Bombshells, Salina YMCA Zumba and Salina Parks and Recreation Dancers, all of Salina.


Dancers also will participate from Coffeyville Community College, McPherson College, Dance Company of Clay Center, Ellsworth Ballet, K-State Tap Dance Ensemble of Manhattan and Euphoria Dance Centre of Great Bend.


Love, Chloe T-shirts will be on sale, and vendors will showcase products.
