Saturday North Platte will be overrun with Fitness Fanatics as part of the second annual Urban Adventure race.]
Friday folks were learning the ins and outs of adventure racing including how to fix and change a bike tire.
The Urban Adventure race will have folks biking, walking, and running to different checkpoints throughout the city.
“We’re about the same size as we were last year. Last year we had a blizzard and this year it looks like beautiful weather. We have a few extra race packets available if teams want to show up last minute, we might be able to squeeze you in,” says Race Director Toni Guthrie
The race gets underway Saturday at noon with check–in beginning at 10am at the North Platte Rec Center.
