Fermenting Is A Good Old Practice
Cultures across the globe have been incorporating fermented foods into their diets for thousands of years. The ancient Germans fermented cabbage, the Chinese fermented soybeans and South Asians and Middle Eastern people always fermented dairy for yogurt. There’s a reason why fermented foods work. Fermented foods contain an array of very important health benefits for us which include: Adding probiotic bacteria to our guts which restores the balance of intestinal flora, clearing up our skin, providing B vitamins and by improving digestion. This is accompanied by a healthy gut, which means vitamins and minerals from all the foods that we are eating will be better absorbed. A diet rich in fermented foods can also be extremely beneficial in keeping parasites at bay.
