LLCC sets archery training, fun shoot

The Long Lake Conservation Center (LLCC) announced it will be providing an indoor archery training and fun shoot to the public on March 29.


Two sessions will be held, each session will be approximately two hours in length. The first session starts at  9:30 a.m., with the second beginning at 1 p.m. at Long Lake Conservation Center near Palisade.  The event will be held in the North Star Lodge building located on LLCC’s campus. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the event to complete the registration.

Trained LLCC staff will give instruction on the basics of archery and participants will have the opportunity to practice shooting. Learn a lifelong skill with this program. (All equipment provided).

This event is open to all residents and visitors in the area 10 years and older (must be able to hold a bow with arm extended and pull back 15 pounds).  Children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult.  The cost of the class is $5/person and pre-registration is required (please register no later than March 26).
