The third edition of the workshop in Mymensingh was organised with a view to supporting the preservation and expansion of all forms of artistic education, and to promote the advancement of arts and infuse a sense of aesthetics among younger generations.

One hundred and fifty children from educational institutions of the town participated in the workshop.
Earlier, a discussion was held on the opening day of the workshop on Thursday, chaired by chairman of Novice Foundation, Rezaul Karim Aslam. The speakers were of the view that there is no alternative to dance in the promotion of traditional culture in the subcontinent. To nurture inner creative talents of the children, arts — particularly dance — can be a catalyst, they said.
