Summer also leads us to be more active, as the weather is nicer so going for a jog or cycling is less of a chore.

Making the right choices can help you to keep the weight off, as well as providing you with more nutrients for overall wellbeing. Opt for a lean chicken breast of a rack of ribs, for example, or a fresh salad packed with lettuce, tomatoes and olives over a pasta salad with a rich, salty dressing.

Losing your summer weight is not impossible but it does require a few lifestyle changes. If you up your exercise and create a more balanced diet, rich in protein, fruit and vegetables, you will see a drop in your weight as well as an improvement in your overall wellbeing.
