International competitions head to East Cessnock Bowling Club
East Cessnock Bowling Club will play host to the 5-A-Side Challenge, the Professional Bowls Association (PBA) Trans-Tasman Series and the Australian Indoor Championship Qualifying Rounds, starting next week.
The 5-A-Side will run from Monday, April 28 until Thursday, May 1, with four games each being played from Monday-Wednesday and the semi-finals and grand-final played on Thursday.
A dinner will be held during the tournament on Tuesday, April 29 from 6.30pm with special guest Wayne Rogers from Australia’s Got Talent as the entertainment.
The dinner is free for players or $20 per head for non-players.
The PBA Trans-Tasman series will run from Wednesday, April 30-Saturday, May 3, with five players each from Australia and New Zealand playing singles against all of the opposing representatives.
There is a game each on Wednesday and Thursday night and three games on Friday, with the top three from these advancing through to the finals on Friday night.
Tickets are also now on sale for the Calcutta, held on Sunday, April 27.
Tickets are $5 each or $50 for a bookings of 12.
