Women and Confidence in the Workplace, the climb

Ladies, the workplace has never been a better place for you to thrive in. The glass ceiling has been smashed so many times that it’s practically been reduced to sand and all that’s holding you back now is you. Life, in all its many facets, is all about confidence. If you have the confidence and the will to succeed then nothing will stand in your way and nothing will stop you, ever. Getting that confidence and beating that niggling little voice in the back of your head can be a real test of tenacity however and luckily for you, we’re here to help you with just that!

  1. Mentor Me
Think of this like having a personal life coach who has been through what you have and has done fantastically for herself. In some cases a senior colleague may consent to being your mentor but on many occasions you’ll have to rely on outside sources. This is fine and there are a huge amount of online resources available to help you find one today. The mentoring system is highly recommended by top professionals so why not try it today?
  2. Flex your confidence
Think of your confidence as a muscle you’re going to have to exercise. You’ll have to build up that muscle slowly so as to not strain it and you’re going to have to nurture it and keep exercising it so that your confidence doesn’t wither and die. Everyone has times where they’re queen of the world and times where they just want to hide. Keep working on it and watch your confidence grow!
  3. Always look Ahead
It’s important that you look at where you are now in terms of where you want to be and start planning towards that goal. Having each move ready and organised in your mind will help you to advance quickly and maintain your confidence as it’s always easier to be confident when you’ve already planned for whatever is happening!
