Rice corner: kaju-paneer pulav recipe

Upgrade your regular pulav with some paneer, cashew nuts and whole indian spices. It’s easy to make, tastes amazing and is a perfect dish for dinner and even for parties and weekend get-together.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups of rice (cooked)
  • 1/2 cup of cashews (fried)
  • 200 gms paneer (cut into 1 inch pieces)
  • Salt to taste
  • 8-10 whole black pepper
  • 2 cloves
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 piece of cinnamon
  • Ghee (as per requirement)
  • Oil to fry

Method

  • Heat some oil in the pan and fry the paneer till it turns golden.
  • Heat some ghee in another pan, add all the whole spices and fry it until it starts to release scent.
  • Add rice and fry for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Serve hot after mixing fried paneer and cashew nuts into the rice.
