Masala Chai or Masala Tea is the most favourite part of an Indian household. Whether it's a morning one or an evening snack-time one, a cup of hot masala tea is a must to freshen up and energize for the rest of the day. Just pair it up with hot Samosas or Pakode and you're in for a delicious snack meal.

- Cloves
- Cardamom
- Cinnamon
- Star Anise
- Water
- Tea leaves
- Sugar
- Milk
How to make masala chai
- Roast the spices like cloves, cinnamon, cardamom and star anise together in equal amounts in a pan.
- Grind the roasted ingredients together to get a powder
- In a wok full of boiling water, put the ground mixture along with the other remaining ingredients.
- Stir and bring it to simmer.
- Serve hot along with some tea-time munchies.
