How Can You Trick Yourself Into Exercising?
Exercise is something which a lot of people absolutely adore; unfortunately it’s not for everyone. For those who don’t like it, I’m sure you’d agree it would be easier if you did. One of the biggest tasks in life is learning how to adapt to and essentially trick yourself into doing things you otherwise wouldn’t. For me this involves the use of seven separate alarms in the morning and leaving the alarm clock itself a good distance from the bed. To make the noise stop I have to physically get out of bed and that action alone is enough to shake me into fully awake mode.
The following is a selection of the very best ways to trick yourself into exercising. Using these methods you’ll be burning calories without even realising it!
– All exercise is good exercise: You don’t need to run ten miles a day to burn off calories. Any movements you’re making in a period of time where you generally wouldn’t are great. So, try making your chores a bit more strenuous, going for a nice long walk or even dancing around to music while no one else is around!
– Walk don’t drive: Try walking to the shop instead of driving. If you can walk to work do so and if you can’t then consider a bike. Walking is surprisingly good exercise and you’ll be amazed at how many calories you burn off doing it.
– Find something you enjoy: If you like doing something then you’re going to want to do it much more than you would if you hated it. That means that if you find one form of exercise or exertion which you actually enjoy then you’ll be well on your way to weight loss! Do as much of this as you can and watch the weight burn off.
