BerryWorld Raspberry, Blackberry, Peach, Almond Butter & Yoghurt Smoothie
(Serves 2)
Both raspberries and blackberries improve vision and prevent eye and retina infections due to their antioxidant content, in particular, vitamin C and ellagic acid. Beta-carotene (needed to make vitamin A) and the vitamin C in peaches also nourishes and protects the retina of your eyes from free radical damage.
Ingredients
- A punnet of raspberries
- A punnet of blackberries
- A peach
- Almond butter
- Yoghurt
Method
1. Put a handful of raspberries, a handful of blackberries and a chopped peach into a blender or smoothie-maker. Add a dollop of almond butter and a dollop of yogurt, and then whizz until smooth. Add a little water or milk if it’s too thick.
