Exercise Without Equipment Part 1

The following are some quick and easy methods of losing weight and staying healthy using exercises which don’t require expensive equipment or gym membership to accomplish. You can literally get slim in your own living room if you follow this quick and simple guide. Just follow this guide for thirty seconds a few times a day, increasing to 60 seconds when you feel you can and you’ll start to get fit before your very eyes!

 

1. Ground Zero Jump. Sounds just like it is, jumping from a standing, slightly squatted position. This exercise works out the whole body and as such is a great place to start. You won’t put too much strain on your joints and you’ll find it raises your heart rate and strengthens your core at the same time!

How To

Stand normally with your feet about a foot apart (or hip width) and slightly flex your knees. Lower yourself into the a position similar to a downhill skier, hips brought back, arms out behind you and knees bent a little more. When you’re ready, push your hips forward and leap into a standing position while move your arms to chest level. Once you’ve got this down, repeat several times until you start to feel your heart rate start to rise.

2. Jacks. A rendition of the jumping jacks you might have done when you were at school way back when, this exercise will help sooth tightness in the hips ankles and upper back and is a great warm up too!

How To

Start standing with your hands together and then, when ready, jump your feet apart and pull your arms out to the sides as if you’re about to embrace someone. Jump back to your starting position and then repeat until you feel yourself loosen up, or for no more than about a minute
