The first “Your Personal Sexual Health” App in the country is being offered by the Mississippi State Department of Health. Health officials say “Your PSH” is designed to promote sexual health, but also offers information about Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD). MSDH reports Mississippi has the 10th highest rate of HIV infection in the United States. Testing for HIV and other STDs is offered free at county health department clinics.

Condoms are also offered for free. Instruction on properly using them is offered in detail on the “Your PSH” app. The app also addresses myths and facts about HIV/STDs, prevention tips and determining risk level.
