How To Beat The Recurring Weight Gain One Final Time
The thing with weight loss is that weight, or fat, is tenacious. It’s out to get you, it likes where it lives and it doesn’t want to move. That’s all very well and good but you’ve made it leave before, you’ve forced it off and out of mind. IT keeps coming back though, doesn’t it? Each time you take it off it comes back, a slow incremental march back to the same weight again and again and again. Frustrating but not unsolvable. We’ve got some fantastic tips and tricks for keeping that weight off once you’ve lost it and finally bidding it farewell forever, shed not a tear for it shall not be missed.
- Replace and Relearn. You might love your snacks and treats but that’s exactly what they should stay, treats. Have a chocolate bar to reward yourself but do it very rarely. Replace more filling snacks with fruit, nuts or whole-grain toast. Don’t be tricked into the trap of nutrition bars, they’re not as good for us as they’d like to have us believe.
- Fluffy? If you’re a man of milkshake or mouse then try adding extra air to your food. Whisk it harder and it’ll look like more food and trick your body into think it’s eating more food. Well whipped milkshakes have 28% calories in them than normal, that’s a small victory on its own right there!
- AVOID. Don’t go near anything processed or with so many obscure ingredients you can’t understand them. Avoid transfats and saturated fats and whatever you do, don’t by unhealthy snacks. Not having in the house means you can’t eat them!
- Water, water of life. If you take all the drinks you drink and replace them with water, you’ll be amazed at how much you reduce your daily calorie intake! It’s one of the simplest and most effective methods of weight loss and most people totally miss it!
