Get Rid Of That Mould And Make Your Life Better!

Asthma is a condition which is massively affected by the world around the sufferer. Its triggers are all environmental and often avoiding certain situations or stimuli may be all it takes for you to avoid an attack. Some of the biggest allergens are pollen, mould and dust mites. Not only do these three cause the most profoundly negative reactions, they’re the most common of the allergens. Pollen is almost constantly in the air between Spring and Summer, dust mites exist in the warm corners of your home and mould grows in the warm damp of anywhere. Part of managing your asthma will be keep your house clean and well ventilated as this will help to eliminate dust mites and the chances of mould growing.

In a recent study it was shown that if you take the time to rid your home of mould and dampness you can massively reduce the severity of your asthma. There are various ways of doing this, the easiest is using bleach and an antifungal cleaning solution to eliminate any mould in your home and then make sure to ventilate those rooms in the future. Proper ventilation will stop rooms from getting damp which in turn will prevent mould growth. The issue with these treatment is that mould can always grow back. Some homes need a proper renovation to help to keep the mould out and this can be costly and time consuming.
The study showed that in those who removed the mould and then added a ventilation fan to help keep the air dry, found their symptoms became much less than they had been.

It’s important to remember that though this is exciting news for asthmatics looking to ease their conditions, the study size was too small to take anything rock solid from it and this didn’t cure asthma. There’s no cure of asthma and though you can relieve symptoms you’re never going to fully get rid of it.
