How to Deal With Your Man’s Erectile Dysfunction Problem

When your man suffers from erectile dysfunction, every area of your sexual health can be at risk. Women often start to blame themselves, which has a very negative effect on their emotional wellness and wellbeing.

Many sex gurus say that it is simply a matter of going away on holiday ‘just the two of you’ and reclaiming that lost passion. Doctors and pharmaceutical companies claim that the answer is as simple as popping a pill.

What these experts don’t tell you, however, is how women should tackle the problem of erectile dysfunction with their partner.

First of all, women should be clear that erectile dysfunction is not about not being turned on; men can be completely turned on, but the erection just doesn’t happen, and this is as frustrating for them as anyone as they really want to have sex but are unable to physically do it.

Some women have even undergone drastic measures such as weight loss surgery costing thousands of pounds, only to discover that their new look and new body does nothing to improve their sex life and that it really was his problem all along.

Many women also find that their partners feign a lack of interest in sex because they are embarrassed about their problem. They even suspect that their partner must be having an affair due to this lack of interest in sex. Sex therapists say, however, that it is often extremely obvious when they start working with a couple where the husband has ‘little interest’ in sex that the root of the problem is really erectile dysfunction.

Men who suffer from erectile dysfunction should make sure that they communicate with their partners, so that they can work out the solution to their sex life problem together, as a couple. A visit to the GP is often required and this can dramatically improve the sex lives and erectile function of the men in question.
