Denial and Your Real Weight

Oh it’s a scary though, isn’t it? People knowing how much you actually weigh. Maybe they’ll judge you for it and maybe they won’t, at the end of the day what does it matter. You’re who you are and a negative body image isn’t going to help you achieve anything but long term depression and more weight gain. It’s important you know how much you weight, you don’t have to broadcast it to anyone else but it’s impossible to lose weight effectively if you never know what you weigh in the first place.

First things first. Go and weight yourself and get to know your body. It might not be easy at first but how’re you going to notice all the great changes that weight-loss can make to you if you’re not aware of yourself. IF you’re determined to lose weight then you should celebrate every pound you lose, each is a step on the road to a new and wonderfully skinny you. What does it matter if it’s easier for other people? You’re you and you need to embrace and be proud of that fact so that you can progress!

The thing is body image is important in the modern world. This is especially true of ladies but also affects men seriously. If you can’t get past the hatred or dislike of your body and then work towards bettering it, then you’re likely to suffer from something which is far worse than anything else. Ignorance. They say it’s bliss but I say that all knowledge is good knowledge. I’m not asking you to love how you are, just to accept it and go from there. With the right support you can shed every pound, you have to have a firm and real basis to start from! Good luck and be strong.
