Set Yourself A Challenge With Weight Loss Today!

Life is nothing without challenge and nothing worth having is going to be easy to get. Essentially challenge yourself and you’ll achieve something wonderful. This is especially true when it comes to weight loss and most physical achievements, be it building muscle tone or slimming down. If you constantly set yourself challenges and push yourself more and more to succeed then you’ll find yourself working harder and achieving more. You’ll have to start slow but you’ll build it up and before you know it you’ll be doing things you never thought you could!

 

I say this is especially true in weight loss because weight loss can be especially difficult. Not because it’s hard but because it’s sometimes boring. The trick to most of life in finding ways to make things interesting, making games or trials for yourself and generally finding ways to keep yourself engaged in situations you generally wouldn’t find that interesting at all.

 

Taking this idea of a challenge much further than a daily or even a weekly target is the 9 week challenge. This is long term and can be difficult to stick to but it allows you to set your target much higher than you would otherwise be able to. Depending on what kind of person you are this can either be inspiring or intimidating. If you’re in the second set of people, never fear!

 

Break those nine weeks into fortnightly chunks or weekly chunks if you prefer. That way you’ll know what you should be achieving on a more constant basis while having the overbearing target hanging in the distance for you to aim towards.

 

Try and remember not to set yourself targets you’re never going to realistically achieve, the idea is to push yourself into succeeding not to kill yourself with exertion in the process!
