The Celebrity-Tested Methods to Help You Lose Weight

When you are a celebrity, maintaining your fitness and keeping to an ideal weight are often part of the job description. It can be hard for us ordinary folk, however, to look at celebrities and attempt to look just like them. Often, their fitness regimes go way beyond maintaining general wellness and wellbeing, and they can spend hours down at the gym or working with a personal trainer – an option which is simply not available to most of us.

 

Fortunately, there are some simple things that celebrities do at home that we can all have a go at. These seemingly small things can help to make a big difference to how you look and feel. These are simple moves but don’t expect them to be easy – remember that nothing in life that is worth having comes easily.

 

One of the best warm-ups out there is called the ‘Grapevine’. You probably often skip over a warm-up, but please bear in mind that getting your body ready for exercise is as vital as the exercise itself. To do the grapevine, stand with your feet shoulder width apart, and then cross your right leg in front of your left leg. Step left with your left leg, and then bring your right leg behind the left again and take another step with the left. Change direction before you hit the wall.

 

Side lunges are another amazingly simple but very effective way to help tone up and burn fat. For this, you need to stand straight, with your hands on the hips and your legs in a nice wide stance. Shift the weight onto your left leg, whilst gently bending the knee, and then stand up straight, do the same with the right leg, and then repeat the exercise 15 times.
