Weight Loss Blues? Perk up and keep trying!
So you’re looking to lose weight and you’re faced with 101 methods and techniques on how best to do that, but which is actually going to work? Well the truth is that any of them could feasibly work for you and it’s actually less of an issue if they actually work or not and more of an issue if they’re work for you. Do they fit into your life, will you be able to stick to them and will you enjoy them? If they answer to even one of those things is no, then there’s no point in trying the scheme you’re thinking of. All that will happen is you’ll get stressed and upset that you’re not making progress and this negative emotion will leak out into the other parts of your life.
I’m here to tell you that weight loss doesn’t have to be your own personal cross to bear; it doesn’t have to make your life harder. If you pick the right way of doing it you can actually enjoy your weight loss scheme. You’re going to have to know yourself better than most though because you’re going to need to anticipate yourself. If you can work out whether something’s going to work for you or not from the offset then you’ll save yourself lots of time and a fair few failed starts.
The issue is that people try one weight loss scheme either hate it or fail to lose as much as they wanted and give up on weight loss, forever. There’s more than one way to achieve weight loss and your first try at anything is rarely going to be perfect. Like all things in life you’re going to need to use some trial, error and practise to learn what works for you and then form your weight loss technique around that information.
